Yes! I ordered it right after I watched the movie because I was really curious to see how it was. I loved it. I'm not sure if I think it's better or worse than the movie though. They're different and I like that the writer makes a note about the movie being an interpretation as opposed to a carbon copy. It makes both materials very special in their own way. I think the book is more forward (with the incest being more real, and Matthew/Theo having sex) and more dramatic (the ending especially) but the movie has a magic to it because of Eva's and Louis Garrel's performances. If I had to take the book or the movie to a deserted island, I'd probably take the movie because of them
