What do you think of this Hollywood rush on Greek mythology? Clash of the Titans, The Immortals, etc? There's even a Phaedra in the latter film.

Yeah, my friends told me that. She was in the oracle, while in the myths Phaedra was Theseus' wife who fell in love with his son lol.
I think it's because it has a bit of everything. There are battles, love stories, enemosities which (when bloated up a little bit) make up a good movie. Plus they have the storyline already laid out for them, so it's an easy way to form a script. __________________

I haven't seen The Immortals, so I didn't know they got Phaedra all wrong. But I'm not surprised.
