I don't think Neal has a good relationship with his dad and it'll be interesting to know more.

I think S4 will deal with a lot of Neal's past. I look forward to that though I do hope they leave a little to mystery still. It's part of what makes Neal the way he is.

There's so many questions and so many directions they can go that having to wait to see how it unfolds is going to be the death of me this summer.

I want to know more about Neal as well but I kind of agree about needing the mystery. I don't need to know everything. The mystery about Neal is what makes his character so great.

Also, if his real name is not Neal Caffery can we please just not learn the real name? Please?

I'm not sure if I'm in that boat about keeping a little mystery being apart of Neal. I never thought the mystery about Neal was part of whom he was. I think Neal confronting his past will better help him with trying to make a better future. If anything digging into his past would give his character more layers in my opinion.

I don't mind learning Neal's real name, because like I said earlier on in the thread I associate Neal with who he is now and who he is trying to be. The name he used to have isn't going to change that because I'll only associate it with a different part of his life and journey.

I'd like answeres to some questions and I'd like some of the mystery peeled away. Jeff and the writers are smart, they're not going to give it all away at once I don't think. I have faith that there will always be some mystery and excitement but knowing more imho would only strengthen character development, the story's growth and the relationships between the characters.

They start filming season 4 soon. :bunny:
