Matthew Staton Bomer IS Christian Trevelyan-Grey

 [/IMG]I disagree with those who think that Matt should not play this role because it is "beneath him," and other such derogatory phrases...I feel that Matt is the finest actor we have available, and that his talent and charisma will raise this character to a new height... There is more to Christian Grey than just the sex, although it is the sexuality of the role that arouses the attention at first...But those with deeper minds will find more in the character, a beautiful, flawed, romantic Gothic hero, his tragedy redeemed by love...  Christian is an emotionally and physically-abused child who has grown up believing that he is not worthy of being loved...Anastasia's goodness and strength amaze him, overwhelm him, and finally open him...  These examples show that these books are not poorly written - FAR from it, in fact...Some of the phrases practically SPRING from the pages, and the person to give voice to them is MATTHEW STATON BOMER!!!! |

i haven't read the books so i cant comment on how it is..
We'll see if makers ask Matt and if he accepts the role..So many possibilities.. |

I have read the books, and I can admit that there was no doubt of who I saw as Christian. And I agree, it's far more beyond the sex. I see Christian as a man who's deeply traumatised in childhood that it has affected his life deeply, and instead of wasting away he was given something to hold on to for survival. Albeit it wasn't the best way it gave him new perspective he never saw before. And then he met Ana, possibly the only best thing in his life, and I think she saved Christian, in a way. Well, I let my inner Dr. Phill run wild with this character and his deeply traumatised soul that finally received it's eternal healing. And I believe Matt's talent enough to know, if in case, he'll be perfect for the role and capable of pulling it off.... but that's my humble opinion  ------ p.s. I see myself not listed ...... __________________

I was wonderfing if you could add this quiet fan to the fan list? He is a wonderful actor and is versatile...which is a good thing. Plus, he is quite handsome.

I see myself not listed ......[/QUOTE] [IMG]  [/IMG]Matt has given us glimpses of Neal as he fought to keep from "spiraling into the dark place"...We all know what an amazing actor Matt is...If anyone can pull off this damaged soul, Matt can... There are also some moments of high humor in the books, such as when Christian & Ana are in the midest of some steamy sex, and HIS MOTHER arrives at the door...Classic sitcom comedy as, from a moment of deep passion, Christian recognizes her voice through the door, and shouts, "Holy SH**! It's my MOM!!!" This is a scene I'm looking forward to... Quote:
