I loved the scene of Sam telling Jon his parentage. It was so beautifully acted by both Kit and John. Definitely my favorite Jon scene of the premiere.

He knows Jon is fair and a good man, and his first impression of Daenerys wasn't the best, so with the knowledge of Jon's heritage I think he'll try to get JOn to take the throne

He might. I do think his manner of telling Jon indicated that he thought Jon was a better choice. Personally, I think he might calm down and recover and be more measured later on. But we'll see.
