I kind of wish we could've seen her at least in season 4 just to know they were okay. Now it was really a "Osha! You're back! .... And now you're dead." moment which wasn't fun at all.

I don't like when they bring a character back and then kill them off. Even if it's not right away.
But at least they/we can say she did some good in her life.

She did, and while I don't like when they do that either, I prefer that over just "forgetting" about a character and you never hearing from them again. At least that's something GOT is doing pretty well at.

I hated that they brought Osha back and she died so quickly... but it was a lot better than having her die offscreen and just bringing Rickon back

Yep. I think it's partly because GOT realizes that fans will theorize about everything so they need to show it for there to be certainty. For example, people speculated for so long that Brienne spared Stannis' life at the end of season 5 because it wasn't shown so in season 6 they had to make it specifically clear that, nope, he's dead. I just appreciate things like that,

Specially with the Hound making a come back, if something happened offscreen, we don't really know for sure if it has happened or if there will be a surprise coming ahead.

With a show like Game of Thrones, filler episodes don't exist so when the season starts you better have strapped in for the ride or you're screwed.
