I cannot believe he's dead...I have always been so sure he was going to be with Daenerys until the final episode.

Many people thought that somehow his arc was gracefully closed, in many ways I agree with them, indeed, he had a glorious storyline since he came back to Westeros (he was being acknowledged by his family, by the people who stood up with his father and by Daenerys when she told him about the Hand of the Queen thing in 8x02)
But...but...I cannot help but feel like he never got his big desire: seeing Daenerys on the Iron Throne. Yes, he lived, fought and died while trying to see it fulfilled...and I was so so sure, that he was going to be with her. No matter if she failed or not.

I am so touched by their scenes...Even Drogon cried (kind of)...it makes sense, he was sad for his mother but also for Ser Jorah, I like to think Drogon and Rhaegar liked him, he's one of the few people that saw them since they were eggs and he was there when they born.

I'm still shocked. I feel like Dany's so alone at the moment. With the Dothraki gone, no one of the people who saw Daenerys bringing the dragons back is alive.
So sorry I'm a babbling mess.

His arc was done. I liked the idea of him going back to Bear Island and advising Lyanna. But they pretty much killed House Mormont.

That would be nice. But I wonder if they're going to burn the bodies to be safe. But maybe burn his body next to Lyanna's for House Mormont?
