So far they seem to be mostly following the books... But since there isn't a definite ending to them right now (well, I think so ^^) you never know what might happen with the characters in the end

i don't remember from when or where the quote was, but Iain said this in an interview when he was asked how his character should die if GRRM decides to kill Jorah off. and his answer was genius
