GRRM really has something against the Martells. Killing off the Red Viper and Quentyn within the books they were introduced? That's just not right lol
I like Aegon. It's cool that he was raised to be the perfect king, or at least a king who can empathize with the concerns of the smallfolk, but still isn't completely perfect. As for tying the stories together, I'm speculating that the Others will invade Westeros, making whatever other problems the characters think they have, suddenly seem really unimportant. __________________

I know, I love the Martells and they keep getting screwed over!
If Dany is going back to the Dothraki now, when will she go to Westeros? That's supposed to take time! Unless flight by dragon is really really quick... so are the three heads of the dragon supposed to be Jon, Aegon and Dany? That seems too simple, and GRRM hates simple... __________________

I really don't think there will be three heads of the dragon. Like you said, that would be way to simple. Way too neat. I'm one of the few who think the prophecies won't come true. That would be more in GRRM's style.
I also think Dany will be against Aegon when she finds out about him, despite his plans to marry her. She'll probably think he's a fake and tie him to the mummer's dragon prophecy. If Dany ever gets control of her dragons again and makes it to Westeros, I can see there be another dance with dragons-style war. __________________

Since you're mentionning prophecies, after reading ADWD I'm convinced Jon is Azor Ahai, but like you guys said, maybe none the prophecies will come true, I just hope Jon isn't dead.
My favorite part about ADWD was Theon, his chapters were hard to read at times because the things he went trough were awful and he is so broken, but they were still amazing. |

OK can we talk theories???
I think Dany is Azor Ahai. The dragons being the light bringer. If Cersei's prophecies are true, that means she'll see Tommen and Myrcella die :[ But maybe she'll "see" them die but they'll remain alive? I really like them both! And Valonqar is probably Jamie who's going to kill her... omg, I just read a theory that Varys is a Blackfyre. Not really sure what it's founded on except explaining why he invests so much in the behind the scenes manipulations he does. __________________

I think Dany is AA too. The prophecy fits her too well for it to be anyone else. Sure others say she might be a redherring since it fits her so flawlessly and so early on, but if this prophecy does occur no other character meets any of the criteria as well as she does. So for me it would ring false if it turned out to be Stannis, Aegon, etc.
I like Myrcella and Tommen too. If they do die, I really hope we get a POV for at least one of them just so we'll have a fleshed out perspective of their characters. As for the prophecy, here's that part from the book: "Gold shall be their crowns and gold their shrouds," she said. "And when your tears have drowned you, the valonqar shall wrap his hands about your pale white throat and choke the life from you." If it comes true, it does sound like they'll die. I'm not sure if the "crowns" definitely refers to a literal crown or the crown of their heads, which are already golden. I like the idea of Jaime being the valonqar, but what "hands" is he going to use to choke her with? It would be interesting if Jaime came back to become Hand of the King after Robert Strong wins Cersei's trial and ends up choking her with the necklace of hands that Tyrion used to choke Shae with. __________________

Well, Jamie has the golden hand.
Tommen is already king and there's plans on Myrcella being crowned, but who knows if that'll ever work out.... and anyway, if Tommen dies first and it hasn't been proven yet that they're not Baratheons, then the crown should go to Myrcella first. Then Stannis. It'd kind of be a cheat if Aegon or Victarion or someone pretty new is AA Though I love a lot of the new characters. __________________

It's chapter 27, where Tyrion and Jorah visit the widow of the waterfront. Here's the quote:
"I will lead her armies or rub her feet, as she desires. And the only reward I ask is I might be allowed to rape and kill my sister.” __________________

Yes I was a bit shocked too when I read this. But after killing his father I guess Tyrion can rape her sister.

Yeah I was shocked too. It just doesn't seem very in character for him even at that point.
