Cersei seems to be the only one that cares about who sits on throne, Tywin could care less about who is king since he has the most money than anyone else which gives him a lot of power. Tyrion and Jamie don't care all that much either.

Funny bit of news I happened to come across.

Tywin Lannister is 12th on Forbes' list of world's richest fictional people.

Quote:
12. Tywin Lannister

Worth: $2.1 Billion

Source: Inheritance

Residence: Lannisport

The Lord of Casterly Rock hopes to “establish a dynasty that would last a thousand years” following grandson Joffrey’s ascension to the Iron Throne. Famously shrewd and equally ruthless, Lannister rebuilt his family’s fortune after his father’s death; treasures include bag of holding, +1 chain mail, potion of cure light wounds. Appointed Hand of the King, he delegated the job to son Tyrion, calling it “no small honor.” Presently waging war with the North, he’s promised to quell rebellion: “A Lannister always pays his debts.” Featured in the television series Game of Thrones and the Song of Ice and Fire novels.

saw this a while ago. just think that it is completely awesome and true

lannister arithmetic:
jaime + cersei + tyrion = tywin
jaime + cersei = tywin - strategy
jaime + tyrion = tywin - ruthlessness
cersei + tyrion = tywin - privilege
jaime = tywin - strategy - ruthlessness
cersei = tywin - strategy - privilege
tyrion = tywin - ruthlessness - privilege

tywin raised his true heir, all right. he just raised it broken.

Please add me. Their family has just been all kinds of win this season. I love the depth that they've added to each of them, compared to the first season.

Well, maybe not the whole family - I'd settle for having Jaime and Tyrion as dinner guests. It would be such fun to see them really relaxed and bouncing off each other. Tywin would be fun too, though I think I'd invite him to a separate dinner, with some slightly different RL guests.

Just wish we'd seen more of Jaime and Tyrion together, apart from the great brief breakfast scene in Series 1, and I really DO hope

Meant to say - please add me as a total Lannister fan.

Love them or hate them, you just cannot ignore them They are all 'larger than life' in so many ways, and they have style. (I have to say that while they are very noble and all that, I do find Jon and the Starks - apart from Arya - to be so serious that they are boring!). The Lannisters may all go down in the end (if GRRM is totally cruel) but none of them will go down without a good fight and some great moments along the way.
