I think it's because we've followed her for seasons, she has always had good intentions even if she made some mistakes, she ended up listening to advice from others several times, and went to fight for the North when Cersei would not. But suddenly after the Long Night where she's broken and alone everyone's turning on her because they don't need her anymore, and her being in pain is apparently "unhinged". And it looks like this is how she is going down and will probably be remembered as a crazy evil Targaryen like her father, all in the span of a few episodes. She deserves better, even if she still died she deserves a better ending.

The great tragedy is that those of us who are going to persevere and slog our way to the end of the series are going to be forced to watch the agonizing death of what was, for the most part, one of the best things on television for the better part of 70 episodes and yet will have crashed into flames in its final 3.

i absolutely hate what they turned Dany into. the Dany we knew would never kill innocent people. the writing went down so badly. i just want it to be over now.

Dany is supposed to be an icon and inspiration for people. she broke boundaries and did things that women weren't supposed to be capable of doing. she took constructive criticism and learned from her mistakes and others. she was forgiving and didn't tolerate injustice. she strived to be better than her ancestors and wanted to save the innocents. i can't believe they took this strong woman and threw her character in the trash.

what a hell of a message is this D&D to young girls who looked up to a powerful female character?!
