So the only reason they had Daenerys come back to Westeros was not because to rule as Queen or visit her ancestral home or meet her last living family but to fight Night King and kill people like Cersei and Varys to make way for House Starks without them getting their hand dirty in the process.

They literally used her, her dragons and her armies to fight the war of Westeros, made her villain out of nowhere and had her lover kill her when she is most vulnerable, when she thought he loved her.

Now that all the major villains are out of the line what they did? Killed Dany the first chance they got and funny enough Tyrion who was ready to give Cersei her nth chance even after all the horrible things she had done, was manipulating Jon to kill her.

Her dragons? Two of them are dead and third flew away with her mother’s dead body with no closure whatsoever.

Her army? Well now the war is over no need to stay in Westeros anymore, so they are now leaving, convenient enough, right?

So going by the show, her only purpose was to take all the hard hitting bullets of criticism and at the same time keep clearing way for them to rule after her.

She should have stayed out of the war and chill in Essos with her people. Have NK kill everyone in the Westeros it’s what they deserve. They didn’t deserve her.

i just hope Emilia will notice how many people still love Daenerys and think she deserved a better ending than this. i hope she will find comfort in the love of the fans who still stand behind Daenerys as Queen. i hope she will see that people know Dany is not the villain of this story.

i feel like no one had a plan about Dany becoming evil and it was all written very rushed and badly. you NEED to tell an actress several years before that she is the big bad evil, so she has the CHANCE to act that. i mean Emilia did wonderful, the best she could, but even she said she wished she knew.

Add the burden of having so many women look up to you and then having to find out, in the last minute, that they were cheering for the villain. I mean, so many young girls see Dany as someone who has overcome so much and still managed to be good, then season 8 happens.

This is a woman who many people look up to. There may have been signs, but they were way too subtle (if they even tried). Not even one scene to lead up to us questioning her decisions in a major way... to scare us about what she could possibly do in the future. It was what I expected, I am pretty sure I accidentally saw part of one of the leaks, Jon killing Dany and her body being taken away by Drogon.

And it sucked. I hate how we're supposed to be cool with a character set up as a hero for seven seasons being abruptly villainised and killed off, which was immediately followed by a lame comedic scene! Like "WELL THAT SORTS THAT SHALL WE MOVE ON TO THE JOKEZ??". It is so messed up to market her as a positive female icon to bring in all that fan money, then pull a bait and switch. Even on Emilia, she 100% should have known from the start, Alan Rickman was told unpublished things about Snape to help his portrayal be more accurate. Emilia thought Dany was a heroic character that women and girls found inspiring, and played her as such for a decade, if they had to do the "mad queen" she should have been told so she could add a bit of subtle unhinged behaviour that increases over time. Everything she did was an act of medieval style war, and was not worse (except S8E5) than any other person in power was doing.

And nobody is "concerned" about Bran's state of mind? He seems way more messed in the head than Dany prior to episode 5 (which was super forced to hammer down the "she's totally evil now!!", and he allowed everything to happen without warning anyone so he could happily accept being king. If he can see the future too then he knew everything that was coming, and everything with "mad Dany" was after the NK was dead, so was there any worse possibility than thousands of people dying at KL that meant Bran wouldn't change things? Or did he just want the throne? Enjoy your "peace" Westeros!


I love the Dany dragon wings shot, and the actors did well, that is the only positive remark I have. Years ago I would never have imagined the final episode would leave me with nothing more than a "meh" feeling.
