What a great lady Emilia Clarke is. To have gone through that terrible experience and continue playing her part as Dany through to the end of the series. That would take some doing for anyone with a medical condition like that and knowing at any time she could pass away on the set. She's a brave girl for sure… The expression "The show must go on" really does apply to Emilia. A fighter in all respects. In real life as well as her character in GoT.

When I read it I was speechless and in tears. The pain she went through is unimaginable and to have survived it twice, in between years of fatigue and worry, is no small feat. In fact, it takes unimaginable strength and Daenerys would be proud. She really is a superhero and it's amazing that through it all she was able to keep on smiling and be the bright, bubbly and effervescent personality that we all know her as. She even says that the show must go on and she did it-we're going into season 8 of one of the most watched and most popular shows on television ever. She's such an inspiration and we're truly blessed to have her with us-especially now that we know we almost lost her.

Also, it takes so much strength and courage to be able to go public with the story even after all these years. There's a special kind of wonder and strength in being able to go public about a vulnerability like that. I just am so glad to be a fan of hers. The world is blessed to have her.

Keep being a dragon, Emilia. You're an inspiration to us all.

Well, that was something. At first it was difficult to believe that someone like her would have suffered such a freak condition which could've killed her at any time. She's always seemed cheerful, outgoing, energetic, like someone without a care or worry in the world, & the picture of health…while for the past several years her seemingly constant joy must've in part been gratitude for the truly miraculous recovery! I fully understand the reason for having kept it secret, though. Think I'd have made the same decision in that position. Awesome that she pulled through with no lasting effects, and hopefully this charity can help increase the likelihood of that outcome for others with the same problem. And I imagine Dany's S7 throne room speech to Jon was easy to deliver since the same spirit of perseverance, resilience, determination, and inner strength is strong in her.
