^ Let me clarify something: the writing of Season 8 has made it so that, if I ever rewatch the series, it will be impossible for me to care about Jon and Dany's relationship period.

I just finished listening to a series of podcast discussions about Season 5, and towards the end of my listening binge the pessimism and anger I feel towards the writing of the current season started to cut into my enjoyment of what I was listening to.

Yes, he should have. Her getting laid would solve everything. She doesn't get that it's not her, it's incest. He doesn't look insincere and he's not a good liar. She was right about things going back to how it was before. when it wasn't incest he wanted her. Now he can't come near her.

I hope Arya kills her. It's too much to have him do it,even if he gets lightbringer out of it.

Honestly I think nobody should die anymore, too many died on each side.

But yes they shouldn't pull a kriemhild and Hildebrand there. Bc in the nibelungs kriemhild basically goes mad and is killed by hildebrand. That hole story disappointed me a lot when I read it and I don't want that on GOT again.

Then again maybe GRRM read the song of the nibelungs and kinda wanted to end his song of ice and fire in a similar fashion all along?

I think they wanted to it be Arya, even if the leaks say Jon. It fulfills her prophecy and even if she's going mad, he still loves her. It wasn't easy for him to see and probably even harder to swallow. I think he's going to try very hard to reason with her.

Arya will probably use Jon's face to kill her.
