They're kind of the most loyal of all, all because they don't do Westerosi politics. If they say they'll do something, you can count on that.

Tormund saying that the Free Folk weren't as smart as the Westerosis because they actually do what they say they're going to do was hilarious and so accurate! which is what makes them actually good people.

I hope he's okay too I'm really worried about him this season

Tormund is right, Jon was very reluctant to bend the knee after his time with the Free Folk. I liked that Tormund also was the one that said that Mance also didn't bend the knee and because of his ego, lots of people died when they didn't have to, giving something for Jon to think about.

I loved that conversation so much, Jon really needed that talk/advice and while the North might not like it, it's better than dying for a ridiculous thing like that.

I would've liked that he had waited to go back north before he bent the knee... Dany was already helping him, so he could've at least try to smooth things out with the Northerner lords first

True true. I think for Jon it was just that he got that speech from Tormund and just wanted to do it right then and there, so took the first moment when he got the chance.... Typical Jon really.
