Robert didn't lie about the kidnapping, from what I gathered he really think that's what happened, he was wrong, sure, but I don't think he deliberately created that lie just to start the war.
He wasn't so much as a villain, more like an idiot that shouldn't have been in power __________________

I just realized it's so strange to see Mark Addy in an intense drama. I've only seen him in comedies before this.

I know him from The Full Monty. And he was on a sitcom in the U.S. that ran for awhile. So yes, mostly comedy.
I've never seen A Knight's Tale and I didn't know he was in it. __________________

I haven't either. I read somewhere that he wanted to do theater after GoT. So I'm guessing that's what he did.

He's amazing. The last episode I watched was "Lord Snow", and he was the standout for me in an episode filled with wonderful acting.

At the Brazilian con, D and D were talking about casting and they said Mark as Robert was the easiest one.
