I think it funny that someone forgot to tell Lysa that the Targaryen's are the ones who have madness in their line, not the Tully's

I loved how Ned told the King how awful it was of him to ask to kill the unborn child of Dany's.

He would have done it any way becasue he stands up for those who can't for themselves..
Sir Loras defeating the Mountain (I kinda preferred the first Mountain) "Renly, when will you have your friend." Loved Robert and Ned's banter like the Brothers they should have been.. and then they part so easily Lysa and Robin Aww Ned I'm always surprised it happens so soon __________________

Ok, kind of rewatched. I keep meaning to post about it.
-Arya made me laugh so hard when she blurted out, "I'm a girl!" when Yoren took her to be Ned's son. -I loved everything Varys. He's a character that didn't make much of an impression on me in the books. But I think he rocks on the show. -I enjoyed all of Ned's various scenes. Especially with Barristan. -I don't quite like how they softened Cersei and Robert. I don't quite understand why the show had Cersei have his baby (that might be Gendry?) In the books, Cersei aborted whenever she was pregnant by Robert. That being said, their scene together was excellent because of Mark and Lena. -I really like how the prison cells in the Eyrie are done on the show. They're exactly as I pictured them. -I loved the Hound saving Loras. Loras and Renly were meh for me. But I'm glad the show is explicit about their relationship. In the books, I never would have figured out that they were gay if I hadn't already known. -Also I wish, the show had included Maya Stone. She's Robert's oldest bastard child. In the books, she's the guide that gets Tyrion and Catelyn up to the Eyrie. It would have made perfect sense for her to be in the episode. -I forgot about the Bran scene. Excellent one, and wonderfully acted by Isaac. I liked the small touch of him playing with the little fish (the Tully sigil) while he and the Maester were talking about Catelyn. __________________

I love that Arya scene as well And in that small scene we also got to see how close she was with her father.
Varys is such an interesting character! I really like him Mark and Lena did a great job in that scene! I think it served to humanized Cersei more so she doesn't turn out to be just a plain villain __________________

Another good episode, I missed Dani and Jon but the rest of it was still really strong.
Tyrion had a great episode. I just love his character so much and how he always stands up to himself and thinks with reason. I enjoyed his scenes with Catelyn. Her sister was something else. Did that young boy actor really have to suck on her boob? Arya was badass as always. I loved her standing up to the guards. Ned also had a great episode, him not wanting to kill Dani or her baby was really great. And smart too. Don't they realize Drogo and his guys will just slaughter them all? lol. Loras and Renly were introduced this episode, which I really enjoyed. I like that we are getting this SL, but I am worried for them. Cersei also had a great episode, I felt slightly bad for her when Robert said he never felt anything for her. It partly explains why she might be so cold. I am also really enjoying Baelish and all his scenes. He's an interesting character. Its hard for me to keep up with everybody though, they are always introducing so many characters lol. I would give this episode a high 7 probably. Still waiting for some really crazy stuff to go down haha. |

It was a prothestic. But that was an awkward scene all around
I really like that scene between Robert and Cersei because we got to see how unfair things were for Cersei from the beginning and why she is (partially) that way. I love how Ned stands up his ground when it comes to things that go against his principles __________________
