XD I just reawtched the first ep today. XD hahah... jsut to see if I can find out how long there hasn't been direwolves south of the wall.

Anyway.

I remember being so impressed by the scale of the show.. and just how many stories it opened up right from the get go with this ep.

I finally did my re-watch last night.

The only thing i knew about the show before i started watching it was that i knew that Jason Momoa was in it. When i got to see a clip and was like wow, this looks good. And was also pleased to learn that Sean Bean was in it. (had a quote of his as my sig since i saw FotR)

Anyway, i was pretty much hooked just be the teaser with the White Walker

But i think the thing that i really liked was the whole look and feel of the show. It looked lived in, real and gritty. All the cast were awesome (and nice to look at

) and those very cute direwolf puppies.

All the little hints about things that were happening, who killed the Hand of the King, the past between Ned & Robert, why Catelyn seemed to hate Jon, what was happening north of The Wall, poor Dany looking like she was a lamb being led to slaughter and the OMG when Jamie pushed Bran out the window..

Fantasy shows are very hard to get right and they got it very right

The difference with me is that I only knew of Sean Bean... and he was the reason I started watching. Then I recognized Peter Dinklage next, but the others were all new to me.

What really hooked me in the show were the Stark Family. THey were so lovable.

The Pilot was a great introduction to the show! it presented all the characters and left us with a great cliff-hanger!

and I have to admit that I didn't know anyone of the cast before I started watching but now I love them all!
