Agree, but the fight scene was ridiculous and nearly made me stop watching the show. I mean he stood there could've easly killed the mountain but didn't until the mountain killed him.

Thanks for adding me. I haven't gotten to the Sand Snakes yet, but from what I've seen only a few show only fans liked them. It's a shame, they were great in the books. Also outside of GoT, I was more familiar with the Dorne cast, like Alexander Siddig and Indira Varna.

I unapologetically love all of the show-based characters associated with House Martell and all of Season 5, to the point that I'm using podcast discussion about the season to distract me from the anger I feel towards the writing of Season 8.

The Coup in Dorne is one of my personal favorite storylines from the show, tragic end not withstanding, because of how it allowed Ellaria and the Sand Snakes to be badasses and led to them crossing paths with two other badasses in Dany and Yara.

In the last episode Varys mentions that Dorne has a new prince... I wonder who he is as I thought the Martells were all gone by now

I was thinking about the Sand Snakes as individual characters, and there's a dynamic to them that I think people overlook or dismiss because they didn't like the Dornish storyline but that I think is interesting.

Each of them fits a character archetype that makes them perfect as a trio: Obara is the leader and the one who is most like their father, which is why it's fitting that he's her namesake; Nymeria is the classic "middle child", the quiet one who contributes to things but doesn't stand out; and Tyene is the brash, loud, "devil may care" one who owns who she is and doesn't apologize, but still subconsciously has a bit of a chip on her shoulder, which is why she uses poison because it gives her a psychological advantage.

The prince was a Martel, so I'm just wondering who new one is as we've never heard about anyone else in Dorne after the Sand Snakes got killed

There are several Houses that sent their banners to King's Landing alongside Oberyn and Ellaria in Season 4 who could have seized power in Dorne after Ellaria and the Sand Snakes were taken out by Cersei and Euron: Allyrion, Blackmont, Dalt, Dayne, and Manwoody.

There's an actor - Toby Osmond - who was cast for Season 8 and whom we've not yet seen; it's rather late in the game to be introducing another new character, but it's possible that he's playing the new Prince, whomever the character turns out to be.
