Man, that was a tough scene to watch. I was literally screaming for Sandor to get there already.

The fact that he says Sandor also tries to help her by giving her advice makes me optimistic that we'll be getting some good scenes in the future

No she hasn't unfortunately but she's asked to borrow them from me once she's done with other books she's reading. Once she has I'm pretty sure she'll be a full blown shipper

His accent is gorgeous

I really wish all the scottish people on this show didn't have to cover up their accents, we can have sexy voices too!

Hopefully it means a lot more scenes

I agree with your thought that they'll eliminate everything romantic and it might be because of the age gap but I consider another possibility. Could it be that they asked GRRM if there was ever going to be anything like that in future books and he said he has no plans for that? Because if they knew something was going to happen I am not sure would they bare the scenes simply because of the age gap. Well, it's a shame really in any way but there is still hope! They wouldn't have any problem later with filming romantic scenes with them anyway because Sophie Turner will be way past 18 at that point.

I think the fact that that scene will be written by GRRM himself can only mean good things for us, right? Right?! /optimistic mode

Now that you say that, I remember that GRRM approved of Rory and really wanted him for the role. He talked about it in one of his interviews. So obviously he had no problem with it.
