^ i think the reason i admire her so much is because she doesn't seem to care that she's off center. she's totally a weirdo and knows it and doesn't care. it's admirable to be who you are in Hollywood when everyone around you is trying to change you to make you more mainstream (because that's exactly what happens). i've noticed it's a trend especially with women who find fame later in their twenties/early thirties, that they seem to manage it really well when compared with younger people. they seem to just be grounded in a different way. probably because they have ten years as a struggling actor to remind them of what the bad side of acting is.
