I was the same way until I actually started looking more into Castle (twitter, tumblr and eventually here). It's amazing how many fans Nathan (along with the rest of the cast) have all over the world.

i only knew international fans existed bc a lot of them i talk with on twitter

A lot of the are on twitter and a lot of them complained on twitter as well.

pretty much, at least with Stana we knew it'd most likely have changed a bit but Nathan always kept his about the same...
