That's true and honestly Nathan and Susan might not have known either at least not right away. My Aunt is well was an alcoholic and she lost her kids because of it but then when she got better and could hold down a job she got them back and was more or less a functioning alcoholic. And she hid it pretty good. I forget sometimes how easy people can do it and get away with it before someone realizes it's a problem.

If you are good at it. No one will notice. And she probably was good at it.

^Especially being an actor and all. I’m glad she was able to get better, I’ve seen tv ruin a lot of child stars so for her to be able to hide it and overcome it is great

Good for her! I never knew either.. Glad she found help to overcome such a huge problem.

She started drinking in her teens. So it is not all that surprising. Most teens do but thankfully she got help. Because most of them don't. Those college parties are no joke.

and I'm sure being put in front of the TV was no help. Whether she was willing or her parents pushed her to do it being able to do that along side school can be hard. My friend wanted to get her boys into modeling and they told her that if they sign her boys when they're older she has to remember and so do they that, that education comes first and if they're constantly sick so missing school, if they go below either an A or B they're done no questions or second chances given. Needless to say she ended up turning it away but I'm sure TV is the same

Yeah, it is.. Look at how many child actors ended up on drugs or alcohol, that kid from Home Alone, Lindsay Lohan, one of the Full House girls, I think it was Jodie.

Jodie was and the Olson girls too. But that plays a huge part in it I think, many of them it's the parents forcing it and wanting the kids to live our their dreams.

Yep, I think that is a big part of the problem..
I've been watching Toddlers and Tiaras for a while, all those little girls (some with the same age as Amaya), dressing up for beauty pageants. It's really all those moms who are the most terrible, fighting with the others and stuff..
