loooooved iiiit not many major Caskett scenes BUT those subtle moments and the case was fun too! i felt entertained even without that much Caskett love xD

what i didn’t like that much was when Kate was like.. „you never know how much time you have left. knowing i have more i'd might end up wasting it.“
again, listen to yourself, Kate! it’s right, you just experienced how little time you can have left and here you are wasting time fighting your feelings instead of spending it in the arms of the man you love! way to not follow your own speech again.

the ending.. damn, is it just me or was that really sad? i guess i’m a dorky romantic but i totally teared up. and then
„that’s what the great love stories are about right? beating the odds?“
not only is that line alone squee-worthy but the looks she gives him gawwd Rick, seriously how many more hints do you need? just grab her, man! for the record, i half expected her to take his hand in the last shot. unbelievable how naive i still am but it totally looked like it xD

This was a really weird episode. I didn't think they spent enough time on Alexis being turned down by Stanford and, for me, anyway, the case just wasn't as compelling as others. I hate the new captain more every week, and not just because she's giving Castle a hard time. She is unnecessarily harsh with Kate and everyone else. She questions Kate at every turn now, like she doesn't know what the hell she's doing. And it bugs the crap out of me that she wants people to call her sir. She is a woman right? So what's wrong with Ma'am?

Anyway, not much to say other than this wasn't one of my fav episodes. Fav scene was Martha and Castle at the very beginning.

i think they will come back to the Alexis/Stanford thing. if this show taught me one thing, it's "patience brings rewards" xD and if you don't take Iron Gates too seriously, she's actually fun

I loved the final scene, but this was definetely not one of my favourite episodes. I'm looking forward to next week. It's gonna be AWESOME!

ETA: The ratings dropped a little, 11.59. Could it be because they were broadcasting football in some locations? At least that's what I've heard.

I loved it! It was very much a filler episode but even this show's filler episodes seem better than big episodes for some other shows.

The last line was cute!

I really like the fact Alexis didn't get into Stamford, I thought Castle handled it well, knowing that she'd have to face rejection at some point. I already said this in the spoiler thread but those schools are hard to get into and TV tends to make it look easy. It was nice to have a realistic showing of just how difficult it is to get in. Although Alexis seems very mature I think in certain scenes she definitely didn't seem so but again I guess this rejection will force her to grow up and see that you can't always get what you want.

There weren't too many Caskett scenes. Although I did really like Castle saying Kate would have to take the pill otherwise in 10 years time she'd be older and he'd look the same. Like he's thinking of them together in 10 years and if not together then definitely still close.

It was filler, but good filler so I enjoyed it.

Def. a filler episode, it was fun, but not memorable. I am STILL not a fan of Iron Gates, not because she isn't a cool character, but as much as I like PJJ, she's not delivering those punchlines with great impact (yet). I'm probably over critical and miss Ruben too much, but there I said it.

Agreed. I was expecting that. It was the way they were stood, and the line prior that set up the moment for the true Caskett union. Alas, t'was not to be... this time!
