 And I hope they explore it sooner rather than later...  I'm starting to like the Capt. more too. I think sooner or later she'll realise that Castle is more than just an annoying bug in the precint  __________________

althoguh the season just started I am also thinking "I want soemthing to happen and now " lol. I think we have to wait til at least ep 10 for that tho

I like the Captain as well.
Based on what I read in spoilers before "Rise" I feared she would be mean just because, and that she would be a bit of a cliché, but most of the time I actually see where she comes from. I think her behaviour is realistic. I really like the dynamic between her and Beckett, in a way I think Gates sees herself in Kate. I'm really interested to see where the writers will take their interaction and I'm also curious to find out more about her background. I'd love something to happen between Castle and Beckett right now as well. I'm just impatient like that. But realistically I know they'll have to wait at least until mid-season... it would feel rushed, otherwise, after the "wall" conversation in the first episode. |

This was an okay episode but not my favorite. I didnt particularly love the case because I found it a bit unrealistic
But at least they were poking fun at it in some ways. I had a feeling the wife would be involved because of the actress being familiar. I felt bad for Alexis not getting into the college she wanted, but her pouting all episode was a bit annoying lol. I liked what Castle said to her about rejection though and moving on. |
