I really enjoyed tonight's episode. I was scared there for a bit. I didn't care for Castle working with the mob but thank goodness he was able to solve the case before he got killed.

I loved his idea about the Christmas family poem. Kate's was cute! I was hoping we could hear the rest of the families poems though. To bad Castle had to hide from her he can no longer be her partner.

What surprised me about the kicking out was how sad Gates was. Boy has times changed. Three years ago she would have been doing flip flops. I guess she has finally accepted him in her own grouchy way.

I feel bad for the Esplanie fans. I was hoping they would work but I guess the writers have other plans for them. We can always enjoy them in fics.

All and all this was a good episode to end the year with. I will be watching this a lot until January 12th, 2015 when the show comes back.

I think the new eppy will be very amusing, Castle as a PI but I hope its only temporary, they must work together again, I don't want that much change

I laughed with him at the strip club, all excited that one lady was touching him. Also, umm he introduced Kate as "my wife Kate" EEEEEE

I'm sorry for Esplanie but I gotta be honest They were never my ship Ryan/Jenny are my secondary ship to Caskett like Espo said they don't have what Caskett does or RJ. I think Espo could totally be with someone else like Tory or that Transit cop ha

I quite enjoyed the ep, bit annoying espo got more scenes with Lanies family than castle has had with becketts dad.
I don't like castle/Beckett not working together
