I agree I enjoyed this much better than Season 4. I was spoiled about Castle's father because for the casting news. I'm hoping to go spoiler free now until the end of the season.

great episode, I really enjoyed it!!! Beckett's interrogation scene was my fave of the whole episode, so intense and so great acting by Stana !!!

it was nice to meet Castle's dad at last, hopefully we'll get to see him again in the future !!!

the ending scene was so cuuuuute and not only between Caskett, but also between Beckett & Alexis ... we don't get that very often

Was I hearing things or was the kidnapper named Volkoff as in the Russia villain in the series Chuck played by Timothy Dalton?

I knew for weeks that he was Castle's father, kind of took some of the suspense out that scene I regret nothing

As much as I love Alexis, I kinda wish more had happened to her so that it would take her most of the rest of the season to recover from the trauma. I think the actress could probably do really well with that

I agree, Alexis was kidnapped, drugged, taken 1000's of miles from home to another country and caged, I see expensive therapy in her future! I just hope they don't wash over it in the coming weeks.
