I'm so excited for this episode. I know there have been some complaints online about the darker tone of last year but I for one loved it and am welcoming it back with open arms my time Tuesday morning when I get to see the episode!

It's strange every episode doesn't seem like waiting for any ordinary episode, each one this year for me has been like waiting for an event. Everything seems more heightened including my impatience between episodes.

Oh man, LOVED the episode!

Loved how Kate never stopped believing in him, no matter how compelling the evidence got to be. No matter how Ryan, Esposito and even Lanie started to doubt in, she kept on believing.

Also love how Ryan told Esposito and Kate obviously opened up about it to Lanie (man, such a tricky scene, too, making it look as though she was buying into it, and then you realize she's not crying out of heartbreak, but out of how scared she is for him).

"You believe me?" "I never stopped" And holding each other's hand through the holding cell... Biiiiig awww!

And handcuffs!!! I *bet* that time at her apartment was waaaay more fun *biiiiig grin*

And MAN, when she understood the message and the way she hugged him when she got to the library...

Man, such a dramatic episode, yet so many feels... LOVE it! And now I can't wait for upcoming eps, this relationship is just gonna get better and better

Instant classic Castle episode. It's really been a great season so far. They are really handling the Caskett relationship well.

I figured the 3XK was involved somehow but didn't think he'd actually be in the episode. Clever way in bringing him back.

This week was gripping even if we knew Castle was not guilty, it was finding what was going on.

So many good scene but I kinda wish we got one of Casket at home with Alexis and his mom, to round off the episode.

Next weeks looks like a lot of fun.

ETA - Am I the only one who thinks he's not dead.

Love that 'everyone' except the capt' now knows about them, for a moment there I thought Becket was going to tell her.

my heart was pounding all the time and i was on edge of my seat for whole 42 minutes ..Great episode..
all the feels..and Ryan telling Esposito..Even Gates saying that Castle couldn't do this...Beckett talking to Lanie...
a really small scene but glad was Alexis and Martha were there

Great call for those who guessed 3XK before the broadcast. I admit, I read about them and I agreed, knowing what I knew, the moment Lanie said death by strangulation, the big hint was revealed. Avoiding the sneaks (for once) made this epi really memorable for me.

Very glad 3XK isn't dead (we think)... with Beckett's mom's case just waiting for the right moment to bring the Senator down, 3XK is a good unsolved that they can ride at least one more time... wow... maybe perhaps the cliffhanger for the season when Castle is held hostage or something by 3XK... boy that would just kill our summer wouldn't it?!

Yeah, we all knew Castle didn't do it, but the JOURNEY towards proving it was pretty good, at least the relationship parts... the evidence against him were well, they were what they were and overall good too... I just found myself yelling "bogus" because we had no doubt it was someone else I suppose.

and it occurred to me, if 3XK can get into Castle's loft at any time... boy... that's freaky... he could have easily killed anyone... but that's not what he wanted... but still... the thought...

Oh and Nathan's body double gets lines and a real scene... like!!!

All I can say is that I so loved this episode. Taking that week off helped me a little bit. Crazy as this may seem to some, but to see Castle as a suspect, but with more of a thought out approach kept me watching. I guess it took this episode to give me the energy I needed to watch. I so hope next week is just as good.

exactly i was worried that he could have easily hurt Martha or Alexis..and that would have been revenge....
you know i was sure he wasn't going to kill Beckett because he always does only he's there..All of his previous killings..
