So recently I was having a think about Kastle. Well I was watching S5 - some eps. that weren't overly coupley. It was fun!! S5! But then those eps. came to an end worst luck.

I remembered an ep. with a lil fun bit! There was some sort of investigative disagreement going on between our top two but at some point it tipped into Richard's favour. Caskett were watching... nope can't even tell ya... in Interrogation and the inquest was tipping more towards Castle's theory. He tried to catch his wife's?? eye but Kitty was not looking at him or maybe more accurately she was actively looking away from him loool!!

I can't even tell you if it was before or after S7. It is after S5 I know that much!!

Can anyone help me? Pleeeeeaaaaase!!!!!!!

I don't think a wife was in it but it kinda sounds like Time Will Tell with the time traveler. Nikki may know, she's pretty good with Castle episodes.

I saw the time traveller one the other day Sandy lol! That was one of my "not overly coupley" eps! Good times (S8 is wearing me down. I just can't quit. Can't quit, won't quit. They're my NO. 1 SHIP of all time my friends so quitting's not an option!!)

Hmm more details for Nikki... Well... Richard was happy and he was smiling I think! Trying to catch Kit's eye. He kept looking at her. They weren't saying anything. But Kitty was actively not looking at him! On purpose! Like K was deliberately looking away from R. I hope that helps you!! Usually I'm pretty good at this game but I'm failing this time around...

It's doing my head in.
Lot's of things are doing my head in atm. This. S8 and the ongoing lies, unrecognisable characters, turned inside out relationship/marriage, writers who clearly didn't give a stuff or have a clue about any single thing/character they were meanna be writing about or how to cater to, nurture, show off the great acting talent they inherited by walking into Kastle (as was). etc.

It's like - with this ep. that I'm asking someone to help me figure out a song lol! You know when you only know like three notes or something and just about the rhythm etc. "You can help me right?!!" I'm sorry you guys.

Just to reiterate - I don't know if Caskett were married or not. I feel like theeeeey... were... But might've been series 6. I think they were more serious than dare I say "just" dating.

If I may - just one little S8 gripe - It was like I was watching S3 or something yesterday. S4 maybe. The second half of that season grossly frustrated me. I didn't know a single thing that was going on, or care about the case for that matter either. And my ship... Have become shallow, tacky, there's no depth there anymore, barely a connection... unrecognisable.
You guys gotta help me because I'm actually really sad and it hurts emotionally so much. I could be overreacting, probably am but Caskett were (are) important to me!!! Waaaaaaay too important to be reduced to "sex is what we do now. All the time. Haaaaaappy. "Twice a day we give it to each other"".
Alright bigger than a lil gripe.

I've seen couples fail, get pulled apart/forced apart, come to resent each other, where it's been wrong they've been separated. Everything. I even shipped a couple where there was never really any confirmation, they never kissed, but there was never any confirmation until after it was all over and one of the characters had even left the show.
Someone tell me how is it the S8 writers were allowed to keep their jobs???

It's like I don't even know what this show is anymore. I wanted to find out what this episode was and it'd be fun but I don't know if we'll be able to...

ETA: Try thinking about when other detectives have been in the interrogation room instead of our pair. They were the ones watching so it was either Espo, Ryan or Gates.

I don't know which season Nikki. ������������������ I feel like they were married maaaaybe.... Which is why it made me react so strongly/loudly! Not negative just more funny coz Caskett were married I feel but do not take that for golden friends. ������������

Ooh!! Could be episode 7.05 Nikki yes!! I haven't seen that one very many times! Not overly coupley - I usually like the eps. to be ������ or I don't think there's much of Caskett in 7.05 fullstop really. I'll check that out tonight! I'll have a lil look on YT to see if the scene's on there anywhere!

It wasn't during the PI arc. It was definitely that Rick and Kit were watching a conversation, maaaaybe not in Interrogation but they were definitely at the Twelfth!

EETA: I made a little list today of all the eps. I'm sure it can't be! About twelve eps. aren't on that list! 7.05 is a possibility on my list! What happens in 7.05? Pretty sure the amusement was not from something random, it was from something professional between Caskett themselves!

7x05 “meme is murder” brief summary. if it’s this episode caskett isn’t married yet. there’s not at all a lot of caskett in this episode. i think off the top of my head they have some alone scenes and the scene outside before the crime scene with their coffee cups....i could be remembering wrong though, i’m not an expert.

The team investigates the murder of web celebrity Abby Smith. The killer then posts photos of her death online and even taunts the police with clues to future murders. Castle believes the killer may have once been cyberbullied. Surveillance video leads them to Adam Lane, who has taken the co-founders of a photo sharing service to a secret location. Lane has set up an online contest for the two, and whoever gets the fewest votes within 60 minutes dies. Using psychological tactics on Lane, Beckett manages to get him to reveal the location – the high school where he was first bullied. Ryan and Esposito reach the captives in time

I'm beginning to think I dreamed it or something. Well my literal short list is getting shorter.

I'll post it in this thread so we can all see it. I'm just in the middle of a sale ending on ebay atm so I need to focus on that.

ETA: So I reckon the list of eps. it CAN'T be is:

S5: 1-16 and 19-24.

S6: 1-13 and 16-23

S7: 1-8, 11-16 and 19-21.

If anyone has any disputes please feel free to say what you know. The list is there now so we can all think about the eps. which aren't there.

Again - the facts I recall are - Richard standing on the left, Kitty on the right - as the viewer looks at the screen. They were watching an interrogation or an interview at the 12th Precinct. Richard was smiling or laughing and trying to get Kit's attention - to say "I was right" or "I told you so" but she wasn't having any of it and in fact she was actively not looking at him and looking away from him even!

I'm starting to think I want to give up. I mean I wanted to see this ep. and this scene as a distraction from pitiful S8. The thinking about it and trying to work it out makes for quite a good distraction, but also it's disappointing when I'm constantly getting the wrong ep, and I don't need any more disappointment around Castle atm so...

Whatcha think guys? Does the list help you? Anyone read that and think 'there was an interrogation or interview not with Caskett in the ep. she's included on the NOT list'. Can anyone add another episode to my list at all? There can't be too many episodes when Castle and Beckett were observing an interview or interrogation and not in taking it!
