she does. I think she is just so strict at first because she is a captain and a woman and she wants the others to respect her and see that she knows what she is doing

 I think that being the new boss she's testing the waters. I don't think she will be so strict during the whole season. She may even be nicer to Castle once she realises that he's not just a pain in the ass. __________________

She's still strict but I think she's getting more comfortable there. I'm sure with more time she'll loosen up a bit more. Maybe then they won't all have to call her sir lol. And yes I'm sure that being a woman she is being extra strict because she wants to be taken seriously

I think she will begin to like him more when she notices that he actually is helpful solving the cases. I hope we see some recognition coming from her soon.
