Awesome episode..i loved every minute of it..
My blood starts boiling seeing Bracken...  but very well plot out and so happy that Kate talked to her shrink and what Castle said to Bracken.. |

For me this was the pest episode of season 5 hands down. The psychological games that were being played, the stare down just superb.
I was shouting during the episode for her not to burn the letter. Kate Beckett truly is a remarkable person because like Castle I wouldn't have saved him either. __________________

she really needed to have a motivation during that crisis and seeing victim's sister did it...yes Beckett is a remarkable woman.

You mean her mother's case.?she did suspected something earlier about Captain Montgomery ..She could see Beckett wasn't lying but she didn't bring it up with her so either she's leaving it alone for good or she really believed Castle..both have 50-50% chances
and about CB together..well again 50-50% chances because if she would have said anything about the top one then it would have been confirmed then she knows about this too.. writers like to keep it a mystery..Although IMHO relationships like that cant be kept secret for a day .whether one is detective or not  |

You need to watch it soon, because last night`s episode is one of the best, if not the best episode of the season to date. I really loved the psychological chess match between Beckett and Sen. Bracken, which was best illustrated by their staredown.
Also the assassination plot against Sen. Bracken was a great twist, because not only it tested Kate`s morals and sense of duty, but also added another key to the mystery with the super secret TPTB likely wanting to cover their tracks further by bumping off Bracken. Since i mentioned Kate`s sense of duty, she really showed it by saving Bracken from being blown up. Like Castle, i would`ve done nothing and let Bracken get blown up, but Kate is too good of a cop to let that happen, even for a hated nemesis. Lastly i love that things were left open for further exploration later this season. It`s pretty obvious that we haven`t seen the last of Bracken. Overall i really loved last night`s episode, which is one of the best episodes of Castle ever IMO. Stana once again led the way with another Emmyworthy performance.  Plus Jack Coleman was just as great as Brackens. __________________
