My cousin wants to go to New York City as he’s only been once and our friend has never been.

I’m trying to plan a couple of days for end of June or July for a trip for Amaya and I but I want to stay up this way more (Virginia to Maine) but no idea as to what. I’m half tempted to just do a weekend one month in one city and another weekend in another the following month or something. Well a day trip I should say. By now we would’ve gone somewhere but winter has finally left.

He was suppose to pick up Amaya yesterday and than bring me to work and pick me up today. I gave him the gas money but instead he told me I had to learn to find other ways. Why say yes if you weren’t going to do it and why wait til 7pm to tell me no about getting Amaya? Long story short I walked the two miles to get her and then her and I walked the two miles back, I dug into my rent money to take a taxi to work because I would have never made it on foot on time. And now later I’m demanding my money back since he didn’t do anything that he said he would . If he had told me hours earlier I could’ve taken a bus to get Amaya. I’m just done. I’m not relying on him for us to have a summer either so I’m gonna get in every hour possible at work so I can do my best to give Amaya a summer even if I use my PTO time to take her to Coney Island or something (since I doubt my father will go to a beach or drive out to any of the carnivals this summer).

That might be a good idea, especially when you're living on your own now.. You don't want to walk two miles back and forth everytime you have to pick Amaya up..

Thing is, is I only have a permit and the driving classes here are $100 for a 45minute lesson once a week. I can't do that, I feel that's a bit much (though my father just mentioned my permit to me for some odd reason last night-asking when it expires). Plus $200 a month for the car payment, $200 for insurance not counting gas ($3.15 here a gallon) and if anything breaks. I had no issue going to get Amaya, I just wish he had told me earlier in the day when the buses were running. But honestly NOT to sound like a horrible person but if they want to see Amaya I feel they should make somewhat of an effort. I get that her Grandma is old and all but even help me out to get her over there and home because the last time my stepdad brought her in a cab and it was $14, I shouldn't have to dish out $14 every time for her to go there and than come home but that's just my opinion. When the weather's nice I'll typically take her on a walk even further but never that late, especially when I have work.
