You guys, we got a scene with them! And a great one at that. Wasn't short- close to 2 minutes

I loved everything about it. It was great of Beckett to reach out to Alexis like that. And for them to clear the air about things was perfect. Beckett not only acted like the mentor she's always been to Alexis but in this moment she really acted like a step-mom; not wanting to come between Alexis and her father, not wanting her to feel unwelcome in her own home, wanting her and her father to work things out. Loved everything about it

I loved the scene with them. beckett is such a great "mother in law" she really cares for Alexis and it shows

I think what I loved about it most was that Beckett didn't tell Castle what she had done. She didn't look for any gratification of any kind. It was just a pure act of love.

She wants the best for Alexis

Yeah I love that too! Beckett kept it real descreet and didn't even tell the boys her plan.

Beckett has always genuinely cared for Alexis and now that caring is showing in forms of love.

While we may not get enough scenes with these two when we do they are really worth it and you can see the progression with their relationship. Talk about excellent writing there!

Kate is going to make a great stepmom! I'm kinda jealous actually. I would have loved to have her in my family...if even just through marriage.

What I love about this show is that I have a girl crush on Stana but then with Beckett it's completely different whereas I see her as a mentor figure. It goes to show a lot such as the power of the acting and how different these two characters are.

I would love to have Beckett as a real life mentor the way she's got that thing going with Alexis.

Yes! Even as a dress code. I'm constantly look for something that she wears as Beckett. First thing I bought was the long trench coat.

Alexis is gonna become an even better character with Kate as a mentor. Oh the envy I feel!

Yeah she will. Alexis was slightly annoying at the beginning but can't fault her because like any adult her age she was just spreading her wings and trying out new things and making those mistakes.

Now that she's back home I look forward to hopefully more interaction with Beckett

I always like Alexis from the start, She was never braggy about having a lot of money. And then when she first interacted with Kate, I was like, this is going to be good.

Yeah I always liked Alexis from the beginning too don't get me wrong.

We've all been there though- those stages in life where you're young and you believe everything you do is right and you don't care what others think or who you may hurt in the process so we've all been annoying at some point or other because of those things which is why I don't mind the way Alexis was at the beginning of S6.

Like Beckett said, she was in "the love haze" so despite being told Alexis was too focused on herself no matter what anyone told her so I can understand that.
