I loved that moment between them too. It was really sweet and you could tell Beckett was proud of her for working so hard on that.

With her determination she'd make a very good detective! Castle would freak out though.

Yeah, but it's her life. If she can handle her not trained father investigating murders and constantly putting himself at risk, he should handle to see his daughter training to become a cop. I'd actually love to see that, though I sincerely doubt we will.
