I'm reading Immortal Rider by Larissa Ione, and then I will read the new Keri Arthur book, Darkness Devours and then Biting Cold by Chloe Neill.
All of them Adult books |

I'm going to read this next:
When seventeen-year-old Katy Swartz moved to West Virginia right before her senior year, she’d pretty much resigned herself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring, but then she spotted her hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up…until he opened his mouth. Daemon Black is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. It’s hate at first sight, but when a stranger attacks her and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something…unexpected happens. The hot guy next door? Well, he’s an alien. Turns out that Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities and Katy is caught in the crosshairs. Daemon’s touch has lit her up like the Vegas Strip and the only way she’s getting out of this alive is by sticking close to him until her alien mojo fades. That is if she doesn’t kill him first. __________________

I'm only a couple of chapters in, but it's fun so far. I really like that the protagonist is a book nerd and has a book blog.

Yeah, she mentioned the 'Waiting on Wednesday' thing and is excited to go to the post office to get new books.

Hahaha, oh that's awesome. That's a totally blogger thing. I know, I sometimes do the 'Waiting on Wednesday' thing when I remember.

Yeah, I think that made the character cute.

I finished reading "Matched". I thought the first few chapters were horrible... the whole thing with the banquet and the dress and things were so naïve and ditzy but then it picked up in a quite disturbing way with the death of Cassia's grandfather. It's not just because of the pills that this reminds me more of "Brave New World" than "The Hunger Games" - at least as far as the set up of the dystopian world goes. I haven't read "Crossed" yet so I obviously do not know where they go in terms of character development but -- Am I the only one who hopes she'll end up with Xander anyway, out of free choice? Probably. I thought about this for a while though and at least as far as I've read it's my conviction that in the long run it would be the better "match".
