Yayyyy! So many fans!
 This makes me happy!I LOVED their dynamic in Mockingjay, I think it was really important for there to be a strong female friendship in Mockingjay, a strong female connection between some truly kick-ass female characters and Katniss and Johanna definitely provided that. They were one of the highlights of that book, and there's a lot of highlights, but their relationship ranks up there for me. The way they began to accept and respect each other, and the way they began to train and how they understood each other. And they were funny and snarky and added something really awesome to the series, IMO, it was a VERY different feel to them than any other relationship in the book and I loved that. __________________

 I think they have such an oddball, yet unique relationship. I felt that even at the start when they pretty much hated each others' guts, they had this sense of grudging respect for one another. And I loved seeing that develop into a real friendship when they were training together in MJ. It was hard to read about what happened to her but I did love that that led to the scene where Katniss comes to talk to her and tries to help her through the trauma she felt at the hands of the Capitol.__________________
