Caroline proves to be the only bearable part of TVD . Even Stefan needed a major smack in the head.

Caroline was the most level headed

I actually like Stefan's reaction just because it's different to his usual hero routine. He put the phone down on Elena which is a first. I'm curious to see what happens with him next week. He's just pretending to move on by avoiding MF but he'll have to grieve properly eventually and it will be interesting to see if his Rippah side starts to come out.

My internet was randomly down all weekend, so I couldn't watch the scenes that interest me yet. But from the gif sets I saw Caroline looked great.

I was fine with Stefan not answering Elena and even giving up on Damon. It just shows that he's human (hehe) and he's dealing by avoiding. What I didn't like is him answering the phone for everyone except Caroline. He could send a text to her and say he's not dead, but not ready to talk. It was a pretty dickish move from him.

^ The decent thing would have been to text her considering what happened to Bonnie and him last summer I just figured Caroline being the most persuasive would have convinced him to go back or figured out he wasn't looking for Bamon so he's trying to avoid her the most. I'm gonna give him a free pass because of the grief for now.

Should be fun I'm looking forward to it though I'm expecting it to get worse before it gets better and it will take time for Stefan to get out of his funk.

I understand that Stefan is grieving and this is hard for him, but he could have at least texted her to tell her he's okay or something. To me running away and completely ignoring her was such a dick move.

He could have even sent her a tumblr post or a tweet - something to let her know he's ok and dealing. She just lost her best friend all over again and it was a crap thing for him to take off on her.
