There was never a dull moment with Katherine. Even though the body switch had some disgusting moments there were also some fun moments.

^Katherine must have been happy that at least one of the vampires she turned took advantage of being a vampire and didn't moan about it

I loved when Caroline catches Katherine in her dorm room and Katherine tells Caroline giving up is unlike her when Caroline tells her they're dropping out.

They're both survivors and make the best of a bad situation.

I could see Katherine taking Caroline under her wing as a vampire.

Also if Katherine were a human in Mystic Falls I could totally see her as a mean girl Queen Bee type. I think that season 1 Caroline would have gotten along well with her.

Caroline has an incredibly big heart to have forgiven Katherine for that
