Maybe something to do with them playing Charades because they did it at the cabin in 5x20.

Or in 5x22 after Damon/Elena come in to find Stefan dead and Caroline says 'Tell me we can bring him back'. Damon replies 'We'll bring him back'. I thought it was sweet that Damon said that even though he wasn't sure if they could and Stefan is the connection between Caroline and Damon.
