True, but that would have still made him pretty young when she was born.

He did seem pretty emotional.

I like the moment because it makes his character more complex, which I think always makes villains more interesting.

I like that he isn't just pure evil, I mean he is, but there's more to him than that, there might actually be a person in the world that he cares about and he has an emotional connection with. Even more awesome if that person is Orwell.

I can't wait to see them have a scene together, it's going to be so cooool.

He has to be over 40, he has to if she's his daughter. Summer is close to 30 and I don't think she looks much younger on the show.

James is over 40, right? Orwell is probably no older than 25. I'm willing to buy it. Look at shows like Gossip Girl and The OC, parents and their kids look like they're barely 10 years apart

I doubt it, maybe he's just a lot older than he looks, might be one of his superpowers.

Ooh I don't see that being impossible... or maybe what turned him evil is what happened to her mother!

After watching this episode I kind of though that maybe that is what drove them apart in the first place and made Orwell start working against her father. I thought maybe her mother was accidentally killed due to Fleming's dealings and she realized maybe her dad wasn't such a good guy, disappeared and is now living/working to shut him down.

I think the first scene we ever get between them will be a flashback of what went wrong with them. I think it will be really tense - can't wait!

I never even thought of her mother, but I agree that's probably a big thing that went wrong with their relationship (depending on how long it's been since the mother has been around).

It would seem likely that it had something to do with what happened to her motner.

But then I don't want it to be that easy, I want to be surprised by the real story.

It's a strong possibility

. If that's what happened, I think she wasn't aware of Peter's illegal business. Then she loses her mother and find out about it at the same time. This flashback and their first meeting nowadays should be amazing to see.

But maybe all this is kinda obvious, the writers might surprise us.

I'm hoping for flashbacks soon, they better not make us wait too long since they already started the hinting.
