What did everyone think of the second hour of the series premiere?

I loved it . It was not as fast paced as the pilot, but it served to establish the mythology and the atmosphere of the show. Cain is so creepy, I enjoyed the whole Tarot thing and the poisons. We got to see more of Orwell and the relationships started to develop better.

I'm stoll on the fence about the show, it had it's moment. But on the other hand the setting is way over the top, to unreal for my taste.

Maybe, It's hard to explain, but I don't like the cartoonish feel, which kinda comes with the territory I think. Take the Batman movies for example, I didn't like the first couple of movies, but I loved Batman Begins and the Dark Knight, they just felt more real and not so over the top.

I for one like the atmosphere this time, but I have been against it when it comes to other specific movies and shows. But for me, the way they're doing it, it's great.

I love that it has that slightly cartoonish feel to it. It feels very much like a superhero/comic show to me because of it. While I really loved the Dark Knight and the gritty and dark feel to it, I don't think The Cape would be as enjoyable if it had gone that way.

I want the fast pace and the comic book feel, it works for me. But I remember reading an interview with the show's creator and he said there would be darker episodes.

I don't mind that really, I like it when shows experiment with different styles, one episode can be more funny and light and the next a bit more darker. That's actually a really good news.

I don't mind darker episodes either. I think there needs to be some darker times so that way the viewers can really feel what Vince and everyone is up against.

I don't know if the show can actually be sad though, it can get dark, but right now I don't see it being something that would make me cry. But maybe afterI get more invested in the characters.
