I don't mind, I am studying Communications. I have an Associate's degree in Special Education teaching. I am thinking of using both degrees here at a special needs school once I get my Bachelor's degree in Communications. I did a lot of volunteering at the school and I saw how the students warmed up to being talked to and doing their best to communicate in any way that they can.

That is great Donna, I am sure you could do a lot of good at that school. Are you taking your classes all online? I am considering going back to school myself, looking over my options right now.

I am taking all my classes online. It is easier for me. I couldn't travel down to the campus, it is near Washington D.C. I live in Baltimore, Maryland and am in a wheelchair.

I want to get back into teaching. I graduated with a English degree and a licence to teach Elementary aged children but couldn't find a job, and eventually had to settle for something else, and have been kind of going for job to job for the past few years. I want to go back and get my teaching licence to be able to teach special education, because there are more job opportunities in that field. I am still researching schools, the closest school I can find is a hour drive from where I live so checking out my options right now. Its totally overwhelming

That's too bad you didn't get a chance to get into teaching right after you graduated but it's great you want to get back into it. It's totally understandable how that can be overwhelming, good luck with finding a school that's convenient for you
