The ratings were pretty good, we have a ratings thread if you want to go take a look. They did do a lot of promo, that is for sure.

Your welcome everyone! It was a really interesting read Living in the midwest and having family in North Dakota ( not near where the drilled for oil), i heard a lot about it when that was going on.

It kind of is. The show is honestly not much like the real oil boom though, which I figured would be the case, Hollywood always changes stuff. The set looks NOTHING like North Dakota, not even a little.

That tends to happen Does it affect your enjoyment of the show knowing it has a lot of things different than how things actually are or it's normal to separate this being a TV show and you just enjoy it as it is?
