“Being Human,” a re-imagining of the acclaimed UK series created by Toby Whithouse, follows three paranormal, 20-something roommates living in Boston – vampire Aidan (Sam Witwer), werewolf Josh (Sam Huntington) and ghost Sally (Meaghan Rath) – as they struggle to hide their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives and trying to be human. Mark Pellegrino (Lost) plays Aidan’s charismatic but menacing vampire mentor, Bishop.

Executive producers/writers are Jeremy Carver (“Supernatural”) and Anna Fricke (“Men in Trees,” “Everwood”) with executive producer Michael Prupas (“The Kennedys,” “Pillars of the Earth”). Adam Kane (“The Mentalist,” “Heroes”) is director and co-executive producer of the series from Muse Entertainment.

Part 1 of 2. After a bloody night out, a vampire and a werewolf decide to become roommates to look out for each other, and they find a townhouse that's haunted by the ghost of their landlord's fiancée in the opener of the series following three supernatural beings who try to live like humans.

i'll probably watch the pilot but i just know ill go into it comparing to the uk version (and no doubt be disappointed).

I just tried watching the US version of Being Human, and gave up out of pure boredom. Bring back the BBC version!!

There is a BBC version and it's still airing, so if you want to watch, then go watch it, not that hard.

Same here, I haven't seen any of the UK original so I'm starting off with a clean slate! I just got done watching and I really liked the show

On the shallow side of things...Aidan is basically super hot. And Josh isn't bad either. I think I'm going to enjoy their faces on my screen together every monday...

I love this take on the whole supernatural/paranormal thing. I'm really excited to learn more about the characters' backstory, how they were turned, how Sally died, etc etc.

The 3 main characters are all such love. They're all hilarious and have a great chemistry together, and I'm excited to see more of their friendship.

I like the chemistry between Aidan and Josh. And their confliction with being a vampire/werewolf.

I'm curious about Rebecca and her connection to Aidan. And Aidan/Bishop.
I felt for Josh going through his transformation and being protective of his sister.
