'Being Human' (UK) is commissioned for a 4th Season..

BEING HUMAN FOURTH SERIES ANNOUNCED FOR BBC THREE Being Human, BBC Three's award winning and critically-acclaimed drama series, written and created by Toby Whithouse, will return for a fourth series next year. Following the gripping series three finale - in which overnight figures show 1.1m viewers watched Mitchell fall victim to the wolf-shaped bullet - series four will see the aftermath as the housemates return to their home in Barry Island. The series will also introduce some new faces following the success of recent guest artists Lacey Turner, Robson Green and Michael Socha. Produced by Touchpaper Wales, part of Zodiak Media Group, the hit drama will fulfil the blood-thirsty appetites of its ongoing committed fan base, but also demonstrate BBC Three's commitment to original UK drama for 16-34 year olds. Consolidated figures show series three had the biggest series launch to date, with 1.8m viewers. The series sustained an average of 1.4m viewers on television across the run and has an additional 0.4m requests per episode on iPlayer each week. Becoming Human, Being Human's exclusive online extension drama also made by Touchpaper Wales, has also moved from online to BBC Three for its final episode airing on Sunday 20 March at 9.00pm. This is BBC Three's most successful multiplatform commission, with over 1.5m views on the red button and online to date. 'Being Human' (US) is renewed for a 2nd Season..

Syfy has renewed promising freshman drama series Being Human for a second season. In its January 17 debut, Being Human, an adaptation of the British series, averaged 2 million viewers to become Syfy's most watched new scripted series winter premiere since Battlestar Galactica in 2005. The series, produced by Zodiak USA and Muse Entertainment, has solidified its status as Syfy’s most successful winter scripted series launch in 6 years with a season-to-date average of 1.8 million viewers. It is also the channel's most female-skewing series ever, with women comprising 53% of its audience. “Being Human has proven to be a winner for Syfy on all fronts,” said Syfy's president of original content Mark Stern. “Using the original format as inspiration, showrunners/writers Jeremy Carver and Anna Fricke – along with a superlative team of writers, cast, and production – have created an amazing, compelling series in its own right," said We can't wait to watch Aidan, Josh and Sally continue their struggle to be human in the second season!” Being Human stars Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath, Sam Huntington and Mark Pellegrino as three supernatural roommates – vampire Aidan (Witwer), ghost Sally (Rath) and werewolf Josh (Huntington) – who share their secrets and a Boston brownstone. It is based on the praised British series, Being Human, created by Toby Whithouse and produced by Touchpaper Television, part of Zodiak Media Group. Carver, Fricke and Whithouse are executive producing with Michael Prupas and Rob Pursey. Being Human marks the first scripted hit for Zodiak USA, which is also behind ABC's new unscripted series Secret Millionaire.
