Yes the other characters just get everything too easy, not that realistic and very hard to relate to, especially Rachel with how she is written now.

But I do think Cory made Finn even more real. He had this down to earth sweetness about him that made you like him and root for him no matter what.

agreed. Cory is what made Finn so realistic than other characters. Ryan shows his struggles. The scholarships. Him figuring out who he wants to be and what colleges to go to. The army. Him figuring out himself. He still struggles with that.

exactly. Cory's not always perfect but he is like Finn.

no one could've done a better job at playing finn than cory.

as for finn, he was such an important character on the show. no one can replace him. they've tried to do it before, it just didn't work.
