i've never denied quinn's meanness in early s1. the names she calls rachel in the first half of the f13 are even worse than some of the things santana still says. i only get offended when i think people are actually being unfair and biased, after s1 santana is definitely worse and imo most people wouldn't care what quinn did if she weren't still set up as the enemy of finchel in s2-3.

for me I didn't care much what Quinn called Rachel cuz they weren't friends and she had every right to be angry with Rachel for flirting with Finn, her boyfriend and such. I wish they kept them as enemies. They worked as enemies. What didn't work for me is how they tried to make them friends for fan servicing with the cheesiest dialog and such.

what I didn't like was Quinn being rude to Finn and calling him names cuz they were actually dating (and she was lying about the baby so like it made it even worse that she'd treat Finn like that) and name-calling in relationships can be seen as emotionally abusive, so that was bad.

and for me the difference between Quinn and Santana, as is the difference between many characters and girls even in real life. Santana knew she was a bitch and she was proud of it. She knew she said nasty things and it kind of made up her personality but she didn't deny it and try to be anyone else. Quinn was a mean girl/bitchy even though she tried to play off as being innocent and being America's sweetheart type thing. That's the difference between those characters and why they got a different reaction, as is the case with many other TV shows/characters and even some females in real life.

That's good to know

it's just across the internet it's unfortunately to see blind stans (those are a lot of santana stans) who won't see the flaws of their character and who get really mad even though they're just characters you know
