Man On Fire
FLASHBACKS TO THE 1960s — Stefan (Paul Wesley) tries to distract Elena (Nina Dobrev) from obsessing about the state of her relationship with Damon (Ian Somerhalder), while Bonnie (Kat Graham) does her best to be realistic about how the changes happening on the Other Side will affect her existence as the Anchor. Damon demands the Traveler knife, forcing Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Matt (Zach Roerig) to admit it has gone missing. Through flashbacks to election night, 1960, Enzo (guest star Michael Malarkey) reveals to Elena, Stefan and Bonnie that he has learned what happened to his long-lost love, Maggie (guest star Heather Hemmens), and then, with the unwilling help of Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) and Luke (guest star Chris Brochu), things take an ugly turn. Trying to calm Enzo down, Damon intervenes, but his words cause Enzo to make a desperate and dangerous decision that leads to a violent confrontation with Stefan. Finally, Markos (guest star Raffi Barsoumian) enlists Sloan’s (guest star Caitlin McHugh) help in a ritual designed to break an ancient curse against the Travelers. Tyler (Michael Trevino) is forced to play a dangerous part in the ritual, while witnessing the incredible power the Travelers now possess.

I hate Damon, I REALLY, REALLY HATE HIM. Every single thing is about his poor, poor manpain and Stefan really needs to sht the fk up when it comes to his douchebag brother... I cannot believe that the writers want me to take what he said seriously.. NO!! Damon has not had a hard year.. BUT YOU HAVE STEFAN. Just because you don't go around chucking a bitchfit when things don't go your way doesn't mean that you haven't had a bad year. The writers are so screwed.. is it any wonder the rating keeps dropping.. it's pathetic.

Oh good lawd, Damon's man pain is annoying. Ehmmm, he used and killed Stefan's bestfriend and did he even apologized to it?! Can I just staple Damon's mouth?!? Stefan deserved so much better.

I have - I really like Enzo but that is mostly because the actor is so brilliantly good!

Paul & Nina was as always stealing all the chemistry.

I don't know why they are making Stefan and Elena, in general, always says that Damon's life is so crappy so we should symphatize with him but almost 90% of the time it is his fault that his life is crappy and he is the one sabotaging himself. What the .... i just wanted to punch Damon so bad. Stop playing the victim, you whiny sob.

I just watched the episode today and it was awful. Awful. Nevermind the poor dialogue but the episode itself was just boring.

I think some of that was that one of the writers was a first time writer!

How they find them I don't know - but there were this rumour floating around a while back that one of the guys who brings the writing team coffee ended up being a writer - I really hope that is not true
