i haven't been here in forever.... or maybe EVER oops, but i just caught up on the last few episodes and im dying inside

I'm not gonna lie, I've been a little nervous about Britta/Jeff for a little while now, but this last episode makes me think they were obviously trying to mislead us. The episode where Jeff was helping his British friend sleep with Britta was one and then of course this last episode... I was SO pissed!
I even tweeted about it.

But then I noticed Annie being upset over it, which gave me hope... then AHHHH "Milady, Milord" I awwwwed just like Annie and Shirley

so sweet.

I hope we get season 6!

ETA: Did you guys notice Jeff's speech to the guy? "Sir, Raquel has taken some of the best years of your life and a dozen of your not so good. if she hasn't given anything back, it might be time to move on."
If you notice, the camera pans to Annie in the middle of it. She definitely has a look. I feel like it describes exactly how he feels about the situation with Annie. What do you think?

Touldengal, I have to agree with you.

It looks like he's talking about Annie, about her not giving signs or moving on him, or at least giving him reasons for it (on his POV), but at the same time as the camera stops on her, she looks like she's thinking exactly the opposite. She talks about their creepy values, and she gives the "Jeff" speach.

I don't think it necessarily means the opposite. I think she focused on the matter at hand and gave a Jeff speech based on that, not them.
She probably tried to not read too much into it because he and Britta just announced they were getting married, so IMO she was shaking it off. I feel like Jeff and Annie do that a lot throughout the series. There's something between them yet they brush it off every time. It's cute, but frustrating as fans lol.

It's just that the speech, the way I interpreted it, explains why Jeff decided to randomly propose to Britta. Like he's been waiting for something from Annie, but since nothing happened, he moved on or wtvr.
