Episode Discussion: Basic Human Anatomy  ANNIE AND SHIRLEY PLOT TO SAVE THEIR SPOT AS CLASS VALEDICTORIAN - TROY AND ABED ACCIDENTALLY SWITCH BODIES – When Annie (Alison Brie) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) learn that Leonard (Richard Erdman) is actually holding the spot as the class valedictorian, they join forces to bring him down. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) reminisce about one of their favorite body switching films and when they inadvertently re-enact a critical scene, things start becoming a little funky at Greendale. Joel McHale, Chevy Chase, Gillian Jacobs, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash also star.     |

I loved it, loved it, loved it, loved it!!! My favorite episode this season
 Great stroyline, Troy and Britta's breakup was handled beautifully, Annie was funny falling for the "Dean" and Shirley calling her out on it, the little we saw of Pierce was good (he was human), a lot of funny moments and Donald's acting was absolutely brilliant. Loved his portray of Abed, it was spot on. Had me rolling in laughter. I also loved the pairing up of the characters, we haven't seen Troy & Jeff and Britta & Abed paired up in some time now. Also loved that it was about Troy and Abed since we haven't seen so much of them this season. Jim Rash should definitely write more episodes! __________________

Donald and Danny knocked it out of the park!!!! Their acting was outstanding. Troy broke my heart a bit. he felt like his relationship with Britta wasn't going well and he was scared and he didn't really want to lose her friendship.
The Dean as Jeff was scary spot on! |

Love this show, this weeks was fantastic.
Which bright spark at NBC thought it was good idea to schedule this against the most popular sitcom on TV? Love the fake outtakes at the end and the Dean saying 'inside Jeff'  __________________

Donald's acting blew me away. He is so freakin good! Annie was hilarious with the Dean. The Winger speech was really great even though I wish he wouldn't have had to say it. Britta made me sad the entire episode. I just wanted to give her a hug, but then Troy did hug her and I started actually crying.
This was the best ep of the season. __________________

See the problem is that we didn't get enough of Troy and Britta's relationship to see why it worked and ultimately why it didn't.
That said Donald and Danny were awesome and Gillian in the restaurant scene killed it. |

IA with you Kush. They spent more screen time on the break up than the actual relationship. I hate it when shows start the whole telling not showing thing.

^ I agree w/ you plus I feel like the new writers don't give them a chance to develop more on their relationship, but yet, we don't see anything unlike we did in last season..
